Caroline Anne Holyk

Caroline Anne Kittock Holyk passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 with family and friends by her side. She was 89. For three and a half years her home was at Clark Fork Valley Hospital Long Term Care in Plains, MT, where she recieved exceptional care, love and compassion, which will always be remembered by her family. She was preceeded in death by her husband of 54 years, 'Babe' Willard Holyk on May 30, 1997, her three brothers, two sisters, and a grandson. She is survived by her youngest brotherCharles (Lillian) Kittock of Billings, MT. Caroline was born on January 19, 1924 in Scobey, MT., her parents were Tom and Anne Kittock. She graduated from Scobey High Schoolin 1942. She married her High School Sweetheart, Babe Holyk, that same year. They raised five children, Jim (Billie) Holyk of Plains, MT., Diane (Bob) Johnston of Plains, MT., Dan (Linda) Holyk of Sidney, BC, Canada, Tim (Lorlie) Holyk of Yuma, AZ., and Don (Marcy) Holyk of Medicine Hat, Aalberta, Canada. She was blessed with nine grandchildren and six great-grand children and many neices and nephews. She ws 'Gramee' to all the family. She moved from Scobey to Plains in 1985. She was active in her church, VFW Aux., bowling, golfing, bunko, Seniors and bingo, coffee groups and as much time with family and close friends as possable. She loved to sing and always seemed happy-go-lucky, she was energetic and loved to visit (with anyone)! She especially had a love for little children. Even her speech was poor, she would sing and hum and if a child entered thr room, for some reason, words that made sense came out, 'Oh honey or what a sweet boy.' She was forever busy cleaning and we know ' there will be no dust gathering in heaven with Gramee there with her dust rag.' She was such a special lady, Mothter and Gramee to the very end. She will be missed...only until we meet agian.
