Dennis Henry Becker

On May 31, 2025, our beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle was called home to be with the Lord. He was born to Henry and Clara Becker on July 16, 1939 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1957. He went to serve his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He worked for the US Forest Service for over 47 years in finance and purchasing.

Dennis married the love of his life, Anita Leverman, on August 24, 1968. They made their home in Portland, Oregon before his work took them to the mountain community of Parkdale, Oregon. Their daughter, Mary, joined them in 1976. The family made one last move together back to Portland in 1988. Dennis retired in 2007. The retirement years took Dennis and Anita to Montana to live with Mary and her husband.

Dennis enjoyed many things including fishing, US History, watching baseball games, and spending time with family. He was a member of many Catholic parishes over the years where he generously gave of his time and talent. He was a devoted brother in the Knights of Columbus for over 60 years. His kindness and generosity will be missed by many.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Anita; daughter Mary McGraw (Karl); brother, Robert Becker (Madge); and sister, Mary Later (Bob). Dennis is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Anne; his parents, Henry and Clara; and brother, Gerald.
