Ellen Dowell Obituary Remembering Ellen Ellen L. Dowell, 75, of Plains, Montana died on Tuesday, September 18th at 2:50 a.m. at her home. She was born July 23, 1943 in Burlington, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph H. and Blanche M. Bemis Scott. She married Jackie A. Dowell on August 21, 1963 in Lomax, Illinois. She is survived by her husband, Jack; two sons, Jay and Terri of Thompson Falls and Scott and Tracy of Henry, Illinois; two grandchildren, Nichole of Thompson Falls and Levy of Kumamoto, Japan; and her sister Doris and Dick Tillotson of Henderson, Nevada.
