Remembering Jean

Jean Bosch, 93, of Trout Creek passed away Oct. 29, 2014 at Community Hospital. She was born Jan. 17, 1921 in New Rockford, N.D. to Raymond and Fern Runnion. They came to Montana while she was still a baby.

She married Melvin Bosch Aug. 20, 1940 in Chinook, Mont. They spent time in that area for a while. They moved around Montana following construction, eventually ending up in Libby, from 1968 until 1976, at which time they moved back to Trout Creek to retire.

She really loved spending time with her family and her many grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and spending time on her flowers and doing many crafts with her daughters. She and Melvin helped get the Trout Creek Senior Center up and running, where she loved to play Bingo. She took the job as site manager for the center for many years.

Jean is survived by her four daughters, Linda Keister (Art), Janis Gardener (Charlie), Karen Jopling (Gene), all of Trout Creek and Rita Handford (John) of Missoula; one son, Bernard Bosch (Brenda) of Libby; two sisters, Ellen Seamen of St. Ignatius and Rita Cancellare of Missoula; fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin, both parents, one son, three brothers, two sisters and two grandchildren.

Thanks Mom for being you. You will be very much missed by all of us.
