Judy Gunderson

Judy Gunderson Obituary Judy Evelyn Gunderson went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 26th, 2023, at home surrounded by family in Saint Regis, MT. She was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer in June of 2007. She defied all the odds and doctors had called her a "medical mystery" and a "miracle". Judy was born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 25th, 1959. Judy and Tom moved to Saint Regis in 2017 after Tom retired and wanted to come back to where he grew up. She loved seeing all the deer in the yard and even named them each year! Anyone who knew her would say that she was the kindest most loving person you could ever encounter, and she made a friend anywhere she went. She was always willing to help anyone out and expected nothing in return. The neighborhood kids all called her "Momma Judy" or "Mom". She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Scoggins Sr, and Charles and Joycie Parmley, She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years Thomas Gunderson; sons Tommy and Stephen Gunderson; daughter and her husband Marianne and Samuel Boyd, and grandchildren Addyson and Samuel Boyd Jr.; brothers Walter Scoggins Jr (Pamela Todd) and Jess (Connie) Scoggins; sister Patti ONeal; and nieces Chasity Scoggins, JayeOlivia Scoggins, Caitlin Hoban, and Casey Scoggins.
