Keith Kreiner Obituary On Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, this world lost Keith Kreiner after only 35 years. Keith lived life to its fullest and truly touched the lives of everyone he knew. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend, and will be deeply missed. He spent his time on the move and could commonly be found wandering the hills and mountains of western Montana with his dog, Toon. Keith was an accomplished lacrosse player at Lake Forest High School in Illinois, and also played lacrosse at college while finishing with a degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison. After college he moved west to Montana and was instrumental in developing the Big Sky High School lacrosse program, becoming their first ever full-time head lacrosse coach. He also served as an at large board member for the state of Montana Lacrosse Association board. He had a tender heart and worked well with people of all ages. His interest in assisting others ranged from working with disadvantaged youth, to physical therapy of the elderly and coaching lacrosse. He worked as a wildland firefighter for many years with the Montana DNRC and was commonly observed biking to work no matter the month or conditions. Keith is survived by his mom Karen (Bill), his brothers Brett (Kristin) and Ryan (Jen), nephew Kole, niece Tilly, his true love Sweet Melissa, and dozens of loving friends, co-workers and students. He was preceded in death by his father Joe. Keith is now sitting atop a distant mountain range with lost friends and family. We wish him peace and will miss him tremendously. There will never be another like Keith.
