Keva Symes

Keva Bolta Symes, 97, of Hot Springs, Montana peacefully passed from this earth at her home surrounded by loved ones on August 15, 2013. Keva was born October 30, 1915 in Havre, Montana to George and Anna Bolta. Keva first came to Hot Springs in 1933 with her mother who enjoyed the mineral baths. In 1942 she was maried to Fred Symes. Keva devoted her life to Symes Hotel which she sold in 1994. A true Montana pioneer, Keva loved the outdoors, appreciated the beuty that is the Big Sky Country, and Montana's natural gifts. Her yard gardens were her sanctuary; the rose garden her passion. After her retirement, she could always be found with her hands in the soil, or sitting in her swing watching people pass. She enjoyed the splendor of her garden and the birds to her fulliest. Keva was preceded in dath by her parents, George and Anna Bolta, three brothers, John Bolta, George Bolta, and Nicholas Bolta, and one sister, Mary McCain. She is survived by her sisters, Ann McCain and Elana Clontz, both of Havre, Montana, and numerous nieces and nephews.
