Michael Dale Lewis

Michael Lewis Obituary Michael(Mike) Dale Lewis, born 10-18-1962 (60) from Superior Montana. Mike went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones, after a brief battle with cancer. He is reunited with his mom, (Susan Lewis), his sister (Brenda C Walker), his grandson Curtis Blake, grandparents, cousins, and friends. Mike was born in Virginia. He graduated in 1981 from George County High School, in Lucedale, MS. Where he played football and participated in many activities. His friend posse the "Bongos" from high school maintained a strong friendship for more than 40 years. He served his country as a US Marine. He was employed at Lucky Friday Mine in Idaho where he worked as a Millwright. He was deeply loved and respected by his co-workers. Mike fit like a glove in Montana. It was there he called home. He made lifelong friends there. He was an animal lover and spent countless hours with his 2 dogs, Kojak and Doobie (AKA the boys) in the mountains... He is survived by his father Ernest Lewis, brothers, Billy (Corrine), Pat (Laura), Donny, and sister Gail (Tim). His 4 children Blake, Myles, Ashlee Wendell (Jayson), Alex and his close friend Danita, His 5 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and countless friends. He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him. The family will be announcing a time for services or a celebration of his life in the future.
