Nancy Lee Swope

Nancy Lee Swope, 68, went home to be with the Lord, August 6, 2015, with her family by her side in Lonepine, MT. She was born march 11, 1947 in Grand Forks, North Dakota to Albert and Nina Dunks. Her Father was an electrician and her mother was a homemaker. Her parents raised her and four siblings. Nancy graduated from Butte High School, she went on to get her nursing degree from Miles City College where she graduated with honors. On April 21, 1984, Nancy married the love of her life, John Swope in colstrip, MT. Together they raised five children on their family ranch in Lonepine, Montana. Nancy worked at Plains Hospital and Hot Springs Clinic. Her most treasured job was being a nurse at Hot Springs School. her hobbies included: crocheting, embroidering, sewing, scrapbooking, and stamping. Nancy Swope is survived by her husband, John Swope, brother, Calvin, dunks, sisters, Anna Dunks and Charlotte Darsidan, her five children: Mark Swope (Vicki), Joe Swope (Brenda), Amy Groom (Bob), Kimberly Lalum (Adam), and Suzie Bosch (Roger), 14 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Nina Dunks, her brother Robert Dunks, and two grandchildren, Matthew Wickum and Xavier Wickum.
