Samuel Clifford Swatman

Samuel C. Swatman, 60, died Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. He was born April 2, 1954 in Coeur D Alene, Idaho to Milton and Margaret Pryne Swatman.

Samuel grew up in the St. Maries area and attended schools there. He served in the Army as a sharp shooter from 1972-76. He was an avid outdoorsman and took advantage of all it had to offer. He was also a chainsaw carver and did ice and wood carving. He was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, and brother.

Samuel is survived by his wife, Redella of Thompson Falls; parents, Milton and Margaret Swatman of Emida, Idaho; father-in-law, Art Lacer of Thompson Falls; sisters, Doris (Frank) Michael of Emida, Idaho and Joyce Daniels of Cheney, WA; sons, Colby (Tara) Albright and daughter, Elena; Jamasson (Katie) Lacer and children, Brody, Levi, Gabriel; daughter, Samantha Swatman and children Jeremiah, Sonia.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Carol Jean Swatman; granddaughter, Jamie Jarvis; grandmother, Mae Pryne; grandfather, Samuel Kendall; good friend and Mother-in-law, Jean Lacer.
