Bill Burrell

William (Bill) Burrell

Beloved husband, son, brother, father and grandfather Bill Burrell laid down his working tools on

April 19th, 2025. He was born to Wayne and Viola Burrell on December 16th, 1952, in St.

Ignatius. Bill graduated from Charlo High School. He worked for Burlington Northern and then

Montana Rail Link, where he dedicated 30 years as a laborer and Foreman.

Bill married Marty Mocabee, the love of his life, on June 21st, 1980. They made their home in

Ronan and then Plains where they have resided for 40 years.

He enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, socializing, was a dedicated member of his church and

a devoted brother in Masonic Ponemah Lodge #63. His warm smile and helping hands will be

missed by many.

Bill is survived by his wife Marty, sons Willie Burrell (Casie) and Kevin Schomer (Lila), daughter

Randi Targerson (Wes), numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jim, Don, Bob and sister Viki.
