Betty Lorraine Larson Boehler
Betty Lorraine Larson Boehler was called to her Heavenly Home on Tuesday January 3rd, 2023.
Betty was born July 20,1930 in Pelican Rapids MN. She, and her family, moved to Trout Creek MT where she graduated from high school in Noxon MT. She married William Ward “Bill” Boehler in November 1950. She graduated from Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing and moved to the Boehler Family Ranch in Plains MT. Betty always said that from the time she and Bill adopted Debra Elaine and William Todd until the time they went to school were the best and happiest times of their lives.
Betty was an active member of the First Lutheran Church and worked at Clark Fork Valley Hospital from the time it opened in 1971 for 25+ years. She was also an active member of several organizations and charities.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Bessie Larson, husband Bill Boehler and daughter Debra Elaine. She is survived by her son Todd (Cynthia), grandsons Justin (Jessica) and Lance (Ariel) and great grandchildren Blake, Preslie, Bentley, Avery, Lincoln, Cody and Libby. She is also survived by her brother Donald Larson and sister Shirley Schroeder, nieces and nephews Connie (Darrell) Face, Carrie (Dave) Stewart and Rodger (Anita) Larson and their families.
Memorial services will be held May 6, 2023 at 11:00 am at the First Lutheran Church in Plains MT followed by a graveside service with the Eastern Stars and a luncheon back at the church.
In lieu of flowers Betty requested donations in her name to Clark Fork Valley Hospice, Cancer Network of Sanders County or CASA (Lake/Sanders County Court Appointed Special Advocate
