Marilyn Sink Obituary

Marilyn Matteo Sink was called to heaven on March 21, 2022. Marilyn was born in Walsenburg, Colorado on September 2, 1954. Marilyn was one of the twins that was born to Frank and Mildred Matteo. She raised a son, (Richard Martinez) and two daughters (Lisa Medina and Sheri Ortivez), including her Goddaughter (Felicia King). Marilyn was known to be a feisty and strong-willed woman with a sweet and kind heart. Always giving and showing compassion to those in need. Marilyn moved to Montana in 1996 with her husband, Lance Sink. She enjoyed the beauty of Montana and eventually learned to hunt. She worked as a nurse, cook and supervisor.  She most recently worked as a supervisor for the U.S. Antimony Mine in Thompson Falls. Marilyn loved to watch her cooking shows and was known to be one of the best cooks around. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  

Services will be held on Friday, June 3rd, 2022 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Walsenburg, Colorado. Rosary will begin at 12:30 p.m. and funeral at 1:00 p.m.
